Research Summary/Interests
Alex's thesis project is focused upon investigating the etiology and pathogenesis of Recurrent Laryngeal Neuropathy (RLN) in horses. This research is mainly conducted within the Comparative Neuromuscular Disease Laboratory at the Royal Veterinary College, London in collaboration with the Equine Genetics and Genomics Laboratory, University of Minnesota. The aim of this research is to investigate the genetic risk factors underlying RLN within Draft breed horses.
